Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care responsibly and accountably as described by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan.
- Demonstrate competency through the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Uphold the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA, including ethical practice and culturally congruent practice.
- Engage in communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, and research.
- Strive to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Associates in Nursing Required
- Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required within 6 months
