About the position
Join Baylor University Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in the Medical ICU, where you will be part of a dedicated team providing high-quality care to critically ill patients. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Medical ICU.
- Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds with healthcare professionals.
- Engage in shared governance committees to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Mentor and support new nursing staff during their transition to practice.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and participate in research initiatives.
Requirements
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
- RN - Registered Nurse with a minimum of 1 year ICU experience
- BLS - Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire
Nice-to-haves
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification
- Experience with high acuity patient populations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
