About the position
The New Graduate RN Transition Program at Emerson Hospital is designed for new nurses to gain essential nursing skills through a combination of classroom learning and hands-on clinical training. This program supports the transition to acute care settings with precepted experiences and is structured to provide ongoing education and support throughout the first year of practice.
Responsibilities
- Participate in a year-long structured residency program.
- Engage in monthly classroom sessions with fellow cohort members.
- Complete hands-on clinical training in medical/surgical areas.
- Develop nursing skills through precepted experiences.
Requirements
- Current MA RN license (or Board Eligible).
- Current CPR certification.
- Resume detailing relevant experience and qualifications.
- Cover letter stating area(s) of interest.
