About the position

The Nurse Manager will lead clinical operations at the Same-Day Care, International Travel Health Clinic, Internal Medicine, and Family Medicine clinics. This role involves overseeing clinical staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and managing daily operations across multiple locations. The Nurse Manager is responsible for staff development, compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a collaborative environment to enhance patient care services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical staff and ensure high-quality patient care.
• Manage daily operations at Columbus and Commerce locations.
• Focus on staff development and provide educational opportunities.
• Ensure proper personnel procedures are followed for hiring and training.
• Plan and conduct orientation and in-service training for staff.
• Maintain records of staff licensure, certifications, and attendance.
• Support nursing research and utilize evidence-based practices.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to resolve issues.
• Lead quality and safety initiatives within the clinics.
• Participate in community activities and professional organizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing or related field required.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
• Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in a clinical setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, or Health Care Administration preferred.
• Experience in Charge Nurse duties or leading special projects.
