Requirements

• Associate Nursing Degree
• Valid AL RN License
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification within 30 days of hire

• Experience in Obstetrics (OB)
• Experience in Postpartum care
• Experience in Pediatrics (peds)
• PALS Certification

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the nursery for newborns.
• Float to all areas of Women's & Children's Units and Med/Surg when needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate parents and families on newborn care and health.
• Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
