Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs.
• Document patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.
• Direct and delegate care to other team members based on their education and credentials.
• Ensure professional effectiveness through ongoing education and development.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of hospital policies and quality improvement programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing (Required).
• Two years of professional nursing experience (Required).
• Registered Nurse credentials (Required).
• Basic Life Support certification (Required upon hire).
• Chemotherapy Biotherapy Provider Certification (ONS) required within six months of hire (Required).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Preferred).
• Specialty certification (Preferred).
• Oncology (OCN) certification (Preferred).
• Demonstrated knowledge of age-specific principles of growth and development (Required).
• Basic computer skills (Required).
