About the position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission focuses on providing comprehensive care to oncology patients during night shifts. The RN will coordinate with a multidisciplinary care team, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through direct care and collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Responsibilities

• Coordinate the efforts of the multidisciplinary care team for oncology patients.
• Provide direct patient care and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to maintain and improve patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate leadership and management skills in nursing practice.
• Advocate for patients and serve as a role model for the mission and values of Shawnee Mission Health.

Requirements

• Kansas Registered Nurse License
• BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or obtained within 4 years of employment
