About the position
The RN - OP Care Center position is a PRN role focused on providing evidence-based nursing care to a designated group of patients. The nurse will be responsible for delegation, supervision, and the implementation of age-appropriate patient care, utilizing the nursing process and participating in research as appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Delegate and supervise nursing care for a designated group of patients.
- Provide evidence-based nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
- Implement age-appropriate patient care.
- Participate in research as appropriate.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the State of Illinois required.
- Maintain current BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
- ACLS certification is preferred.
- Maintain Provider for PEARS or PALS certification (required within 12 months of hire).
- 12 months experience as a registered nurse is required for promotion in the clinical ladder.
Nice-to-haves
- BSN preferred for Clinical Nurse I and II roles.
- Completion of self-evaluation for annual credentialing requirements.
