Requirements

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• Current Georgia nursing license.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• 2 years of OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
• Promote patients' independence by establishing care goals and teaching patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Utilize experience and judgment to plan and accomplish nursing goals.
