Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the operating room for various surgical procedures.
- Scrub and circulate for surgeries including general surgery, robotics, kidney transplants, and trauma cases.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations, including COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
- Participate in orientation and training sessions as required.
- Respond to on-call shifts as needed, with a 30-minute response time.
- Work collaboratively with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Current MA RN license required at the time of submission.
- BLS Certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in an operating room setting.
- Experience with Epic EMR is required.
- Experience in a teaching hospital is preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in neuro, trauma, and transplant surgery specialties.
- Familiarity with Da Vinci XI robotics and complex ENT procedures.
