About the position

The RN- OPS/GI position at Ozarks Medical Center involves a comprehensive role in patient care assessment and planning. The registered nurse will be expected to provide leadership within the nursing team, ensuring that all nursing tasks are executed effectively and in accordance with established standards. This role is critical as it encompasses the responsibility and accountability for the care provided to patients, as well as the decisions made regarding the delegation of nursing tasks to both licensed and unlicensed personnel. The RN will be required to adhere to all standards of nursing care, which includes understanding and embodying the vision, mission, values, and standards of Ozarks Medical Center (OZH).

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan for patient care.
• Provide leadership within the nursing team.
• Be responsible and accountable for care given to the patient.
• Make decisions regarding nursing tasks delegated to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
• Adhere to all standards of nursing care.
• Understand and embody OZH's vision, mission, values, and standards.

Requirements

• Current Missouri RN License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
