The RN or LPN position in Family Medicine at Essentia Health is a casual, as-needed role focused on providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Fargo-Moorhead area. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ambulatory and/or home care settings.
- Assist RN, Physician, and other providers in delivering care.
- Perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated.
- Care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly.
- Utilize the nursing process to assess patient concerns and develop care plans.
Requirements
- Current license with the Minnesota or North Dakota State Board of Nursing.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
- BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in family practice or outpatient settings.
