About the position

The RN or LPN Nurse Coordinator/On Boarding Specialist at Evergreen Living Innovations is responsible for leading the orientation of new hires, ensuring they are well-prepared to provide high-quality care to residents. This role emphasizes the importance of kindness and continuity of care, allowing team members to maintain a healthy work-life balance while delivering consistent support to residents. Responsibilities

• Lead New Hire classroom orientation covering nursing related topics
• Complete neighborhood checklist and competency testing with all team members
• Assist in education and recruitment efforts
• Facilitate/complete annual competencies for nursing staff
• Complete 30- and 60-day reviews for new team members
• On Call Rotation once a month (additional compensation)
• Oversight FIT testing
• Oversight Wound Assessments
• Oversite Inventory/Supplies

Requirements

• Current, valid Kansas Nurse License
• Experience in long term care preferred
• Experience in training/on boarding preferred
• Current CPR Certification
• Positive attitude and the ability to work as a team
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
• Must present in a professional manner
• Always put the residents' needs first, honoring them with dignity and respect and providing excellent care to our empowered elders
