Nurses Direct is a Louisiana owned and operated supplemental staffing agency dedicated to providing quality nursing staff to healthcare facilities, home health, hospice, and at-home private duty nursing. As a Regional Director, you will play a crucial role in business development and recruiting efforts, ensuring that we meet the staffing needs of the healthcare industry effectively. This position requires a strong understanding of the healthcare landscape and the ability to connect with potential clients and candidates alike. You will be responsible for leading initiatives that enhance our staffing capabilities and expand our reach within the community. In this role, you will leverage your experience in talent acquisition and marketing to attract top nursing talent and build relationships with healthcare facilities. Your efforts will directly impact the quality of care provided to patients, as you will be responsible for ensuring that our staffing solutions meet the highest standards. You will work closely with our team of experienced nurses and staff to develop strategies that align with our mission of delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess a high personal drive, eagerness to learn, and the ability to adapt to the fast-paced nature of the healthcare industry. You will be expected to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining excellent communication with clients and candidates. Responsibilities

  • Lead business development initiatives to expand staffing services in the healthcare sector.
  • Oversee the recruitment process for nursing staff, ensuring a high standard of quality and care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare facilities to understand their staffing needs.
  • Utilize marketing strategies to attract potential candidates and clients.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews and screenings for nursing positions.
  • Manage communication with candidates through various channels including phone, text, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Implement organizational strategies to improve operational efficiency within the staffing agency.

Requirements

  • Valid RN License or LPN License is preferred.
  • Experience in talent acquisition within the healthcare industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong background in marketing and sales is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using computers and various technologies, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and internet navigation.
