About the position

The position involves managing cardiac databases for the Quality Management Services (QMS) department. The primary responsibility is to abstract data and submit it for the assigned database within established timeframes.

• Manage cardiac databases for the Quality Management Services (QMS) department.
• Abstract data and submit for assigned database within established timeframes.

Requirements

• Associate Nursing Degree required from an accredited college or university.
• Bachelor in Nursing from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Minimum of two years experience in patient medical record review, preferably of cardiac patients.
• Previous medical staff committee experience and cardiac nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to make presentations and conduct training sessions necessary.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac nursing preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor in Nursing from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Previous medical staff committee experience and cardiac nursing experience preferred.
