Responsibilities

  • Educate patients, families, and community members on healthcare choices.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current and valid nursing license.
  • BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of starting.
  • 1 year of RN experience required; highly preferred 2 or more years of RN experience.
  • Deep understanding of nursing and patient care standards and procedures.
  • Knowledge of nursing laws, rules, standards, and guidelines.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and common medications.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical documentation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a PACU or critical care setting.
  • Familiarity with advanced surgical procedures and technologies.
