About the position
The RN PCU, M/S Tele/Float position is a contract role based in Woonsocket, RI, focused on providing nursing care in a telemetry and medical-surgical environment. Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the PCU and M/S Tele Float units.
- Monitor cardiac patients and manage their care effectively.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care and progress accurately in the medical records.
Requirements
- Valid RN License in Rhode Island or compact state.
- BLS Certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in a cardiac setting.
- Experience with cardiac catheterization and managing cardiac patients.
Nice-to-haves
- ACLS Certification preferred.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
