About the position

The Registered Professional Nurse (RN) at AdventHealth is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in a fast-paced observation unit. This role emphasizes teamwork and patient-centered care, focusing on throughput and enhancing the patient experience. The RN will work with a diverse patient population, managing various health conditions while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age-specific groups.
• Utilize the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating) to achieve nursing department goals.
• Participate in outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships with all stakeholders.
• Adhere to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• Current valid State of Florida or multistate license as a Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Advanced Life Support Certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) per specialty/unit requirements.
• EKG certification.

Nice-to-haves
