Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' health status prior to surgery.
  • Prepare patients for surgical procedures.
  • Educate patients and their families about the surgical process and post-operative care.

  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures regarding patient care and safety.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
