The Registered Nurse (RN) position at Wellstar Health System, Inc. is a PRN role within the Virtual Care Department, focusing on providing quality nursing services in a supportive and positive environment. Patient advocacy is a key component of this role, as the RN will listen to patient concerns, respond to their needs in a timely manner, and serve as an educational resource for patients and their families. The RN will embrace patient- and family-centered care principles to ensure satisfaction among patients, families, staff, and physicians. Additionally, the RN will seek opportunities for performance improvement, contributing ideas to enhance the work environment and support initiatives aimed at achieving better patient quality outcomes and organizational performance. Professional growth and competency are also emphasized, with the RN expected to maintain licenses and certifications, complete required training, and engage in professional organizations.
