About the position

The Staff Registered Nurse in the Progressive Cardiac Care Unit at Integris Health is responsible for managing and delivering patient care using the nursing process. This role requires adherence to National Patient Safety Goals and may involve floating to other units or participating in on-call status. The position emphasizes the importance of population-specific competencies and includes supervising and mentoring other personnel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Conduct assessments and re-assessments of patients.
• Develop and implement plans of care for patients.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care interventions.
• Supervise and coordinate care provided by licensed and non-licensed personnel.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
• Current BLS certification upon hire, or completion within 30 days of hire required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Demonstration of core competencies to be completed within 90 days.
• Completion of unit specific competencies within 12 months.
