Responsibilities

  • Collect, prioritize, and synthesize comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
  • Analyze assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses and validate them with patients and families.
  • Identify expected outcomes individualized to the patient and establish realistic and measurable goals.
  • Develop and implement a plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomes.
  • Evaluate the patient's progress towards attainment of the outcome and revise the plan of care as necessary.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities related to nursing practice.
  • Engage in self-evaluation of practice and seek feedback from peers and patients.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members in the conduct of nursing practice.
  • Act in an ethical manner and serve as a patient advocate.
  • Integrate research findings into practice and utilize evidence-based interventions.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Vocational degree in nursing
  • Minimum 3 years RN experience
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in Minnesota
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in Wisconsin by completion of orientation

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in triage, anticoagulation, or remote nursing support
