About the position

The Electrophysiology RN position is a travel nursing role based in Virginia, focusing on providing specialized care in electrophysiology. The role requires working day shifts from 07:00 to 17:30, and it offers a unique opportunity to explore the historic and scenic state of Virginia while delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in electrophysiology procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and health status during procedures.
• Assist physicians during electrophysiology studies and interventions.
• Educate patients and their families about procedures and post-care instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of Virginia or compact state license.
• Experience in electrophysiology or related nursing field.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in electrophysiology nursing (CEN) or similar specialty certification.
• Previous travel nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
