About The Position

Gundersen Health System is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide compassionate care to obstetrics and gynecology patients in the La Crosse Clinic. This role allows for a fulfilling work experience in a supportive environment, focusing on patient education and care without weekend or holiday shifts.

Requirements

• Minimum of Associate Degree in Nursing
• RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin upon hire
• Minimum 1 year RN experience
• BLS for healthcare providers

Responsibilities

• Fulfill 64 hours per two weeks (0.8 FTE)
• Work 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• Perform fetal monitoring for OB patients (NST's)
• Provide OB patient education during 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester appointments
• Administer oral medications and injections
• Respond to MyChart messages and perform phone triage
• Assist with clinic procedures and administer medication
