About the position

The position involves directing the operation of clinical programs to ensure quality services for the community and patients. The role focuses on developing and maintaining policies and procedures that promote quality patient care, monitoring patient outcomes, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements and maintains policies and procedures for programs to ensure quality patient care and services
  • Monitors and tracks patient outcomes through advanced techniques
  • Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews program deliverables
  • Assists in the interpretation of policies and objectives of nursing service to staff and community groups
  • Creates care plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans and budgets
  • Conducts home care program meetings to ensure effective management of activities

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • 4 years of clinical nursing experience
  • 1 year in a supervisory role preferred
  • RN License in state of employment or compact
  • Wound Care certification required within a year of employment
