About the position

The RN Residency Program at Providence Medford Medical Center offers recent nursing graduates an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various medical settings with the support of experienced preceptors and clinical educators. This program is designed for those with less than 12 months of nursing experience, providing a structured curriculum and authentic patient care experiences. Responsibilities

• Gain real-world acute care experience under the guidance of preceptors, mentors, and clinical educators.
• Participate in a structured curriculum, simulation, and authentic patient experiences.
• Schedule on rotating weekends as required for various medical units.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
• Newly licensed with 12 months of experience or less.

Nice-to-haves

• National Certification in area of specialty upon hire, unless otherwise indicated.
