Responsibilities
- Facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with healthcare teams and patients/families.
- Identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
- Promote optimal health, well-being, and safety of patients through the nursing process.
- Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care and organizational values.
- Float to multiple units within one facility or across various facilities as needed.
Requirements
- Valid RN License required.
- Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- 12-24 months of experience in applicable unit type/specialty area depending on employment type.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in critical care, surgical services, medical surgical, procedural, women's services, emergency department, or behavioral health.
