About the position
The RN position at Swedish Cancer Institute Medical Oncology involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a supportive and patient-focused environment. Responsibilities
- Assess, identify appropriate nursing diagnoses, plan, implement and evaluate patients' care.
- Develop and update the patient's plan of care to achieve patient goals and optimize outcomes.
- Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care by partnering in care planning.
- Foster a learning environment for patients/families and other members of the healthcare team.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and practice to the top of license.
- Lead and coordinate teams, appropriately delegate, and collaborate with inter-professional care teams.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 1 year Medical Oncology Nursing experience.
