About the position

Join Baylor Scott and White Medical Center - McKinney as a Registered Nurse in the Admissions Holding area of our Emergency Department. This full-time, night shift position involves working in a fast-paced environment with high acuity patients. The role emphasizes learning, mentoring, and teamwork, contributing to the delivery of world-class healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Admissions Holding area of the Emergency Department.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• A degree from a recognized nursing program or two years of relevant work experience.
• A minimum of one year's experience in the field of nursing.
• A valid Registered Nurse license.
• Ability to obtain a Basic Life Support certification within the first 30 days of employment.
