The Winter Seasonal Resource Registered Nurse at Methodist Healthcare is a temporary position designed for RNs to provide high-quality care in various adult and pediatric units during the winter season. This role requires full-time commitment, including night shifts, and involves floating to different units based on patient care needs. The position emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and leadership in delivering safe nursing care and achieving quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process and critical thinking skills to deliver safe nursing care to patients.
• Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
• Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism in unit and organizational activities.
• Demonstrate teamwork and serve as a resource to the patient care team.
• Accountable for delivering quality nursing care services and promoting a positive image of nursing.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate's, or baccalaureate degree nursing program.
• Minimum of two years of acute care experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
