About the position
The RN Staff in the Emergency Department is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through the nursing processes of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role involves guiding and directing the activities of ancillary personnel while ensuring adherence to professional nursing standards. Effective communication and cooperation with all health team members are essential to maintain optimal patient care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care using nursing processes of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care.
- Direct and guide patient care activities of ancillary personnel.
- Maintain standards of professional nursing practice.
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with all health team members.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Alabama licensure or MSL.
- Experience preferred; new graduates accepted.
- BLS certification required before the conclusion of the orientation period.
