About the position
The RN Staff Nurse position at Randall Children's Hospital focuses on providing exceptional care to infants, children, and teens in a family-centered environment. Responsibilities
- Responsible for patient care within an assigned department/unit.
- Participates as a member of the health care team under the direction of the clinical manager or designee.
- Assesses, analyzes, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care following established patient care standards for Legacy Health System.
Requirements
- Education as required by licensure; BSN or degree in progress strongly preferred.
- One-year registered nursing experience or completion of the Legacy Health RN Residency program or equivalent nursing program.
- Pediatric ED experience strongly preferred; will consider candidates with adult ED experience or strong Pediatric experience.
- Demonstrated ability of positive interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, patients, families, physicians, and the community.
- Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in pediatric emergency department settings.
- Strong pediatric nursing experience.
Benefits
- Hourly wage of $50.57 - $75.55.
