Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in a stepdown unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care plans.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Nebraska or compact state.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
- Completion of Core Mandatory Part I, II, and III Exams.
- Dysrhythmia (BASIC) Exam certification.
- NIHSS certification.
- PCU (Stepdown) RN Skills Checklist completion.
- Progressive Care RN Exam completion.
- RN Pharmacology Exam completion.
