About the position

The Nurse Supervisor at Rome Health is responsible for coordinating and supervising the delivery of resident care within a residential healthcare facility. This role ensures that high-quality nursing care is provided efficiently and effectively, adhering to established standards and regulations. The Nurse Supervisor will set goals for the unit, align nursing objectives with the facility's mission, and be an integral part of the Administrative Team, capable of delegating responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the delivery of resident care over a 24-hour period.
• Ensure high-quality nursing care is delivered in accordance with established standards.
• Establish goals and direction for the unit(s).
• Ensure nursing goals align with the facility's mission statement.
• Delegate responsibilities effectively as a member of the Administrative Team.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse License in New York State.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Five years of progressive nursing experience.
• Minimum of one year experience in Long Term Care and supervisory/Charge Nurse experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
