About the position
The RN Surg Svcs (PRN-Level 1) position in the Pain Management Clinic involves providing nursing care to a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The role is under the supervision of the department director or charge nurse and requires a focus on pain management and surgical services.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Pain Management Clinic.
- Assist in the management of pain for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Requirements
- Valid RN License in the State of Missouri.
- BLS Certification from AHA.
- ACLS Certification from AHA.
- One year of medical/surgical experience.
- One year of pain management experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
