About the position
The System Resource RN position at MultiCare Health System is designed to fill workforce gaps across various locations within the organization. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in adult hospitals and Freestanding EDs, utilizing the nursing process to ensure optimal patient outcomes. System Resource RNs are expected to work independently while receiving guidance for skill enhancement, making patient advocacy and exceptional care a priority.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care to patients using the nursing process to achieve quality outcomes.
- Perform assessments, procedures, treatments, and evaluations for assigned patients.
- Develop and revise patient care plans based on assessments and evaluations.
- Educate patients and/or their families about care plans and health management.
- Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, safety systems, and timely documentation.
- Act as a patient advocate to ensure high-quality care is provided.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- One (1) year of acute care experience required.
- Current BLS Certification required.
