About the position
The Registered Nurse - Telemetry Med/Surg position in Concord, MA, is a contract role focused on providing high-quality nursing care in an acute care hospital setting. The role involves working night shifts and requires a strong background in telemetry and medical-surgical nursing. The position is designed for experienced RNs who can handle the demands of inpatient care and are comfortable with the necessary technology and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in a telemetry and medical-surgical setting.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry readings.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Requirements
- Current MA RN License or Compact State Nurse License.
- BLS Certification (ARC or AHA).
- Minimum of 2 years of telemetry nursing experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience.
- Experience with Meditech software.
