About the position

Travel Nurses, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced travel nurse RN specializing in Med Surg / Telemetry for an immediate opening in Winchester, Virginia. Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a Med Surg / Telemetry setting.
• Adapt to new environments and hospital systems quickly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and care plans.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of recent experience in Med Surg / Telemetry nursing.
• Current RN license in the state of Virginia or compact state.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
• Strong adaptability and flexibility in new environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Previous travel nursing experience.
