About the position

We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse with expertise in telemetry to join our team in Rochester, NY. This contract opportunity is perfect for nurses with a background in cardiac care and telemetry, providing a chance to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for patients with cardiac conditions, including those post-PCI and on cardiac gtts like Tikosyn.
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond to changes in their condition promptly.
• Float to similar units as needed, and support ICU or ED with Med/Surg level patients or as helping hands.
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient records using Epic software.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent telemetry experience.
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Ability to work the 7p-7a shift.
• Flexibility to float between units and assist where needed.
