About the position
The Transition Team Registered Nurse (RN) position at BAYADA involves providing complex care to infants, children, and adults in their homes, particularly during the transition from hospital care. This role emphasizes quality care delivery and extensive training for ongoing care teams, supported by a dedicated team to ensure success. RNs can choose between full-time or part-time schedules, with options for daytime and overnight shifts.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality care to clients transitioning from hospital to home care.
- Provide extensive training to the ongoing care team.
- Work in a teaching setting to prepare and educate the BAYADA care team.
- Commit to an ongoing, consistent schedule.
- Travel throughout New Castle County as needed.
Requirements
- Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Experience in NICU, PICU, ICU, or home care with trach/vent required.
- Ability to achieve a passing score on high-tech Adult and Pediatric simulations.
- Current CPR certification.
