  • Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.
  • Perform tracheotomy care and maintenance as needed.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current and valid nursing license in Texas.
  • BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of starting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in trauma or orthopedic nursing.
  • Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Previous experience in a progressive care or telemetry unit.
