About the position
The Registered Nurse (RN) Traveler position at Solutions By Sanford involves providing individualized nursing care to patients in a clinical setting. The role requires collaboration with inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring adherence to nursing standards and practices. This position is designed for experienced RNs who are willing to travel and work in various locations, with contracts lasting 13 weeks and the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to patients.
- Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan and evaluate care.
- Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise.
- Care for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
- Plan and coordinate patient care, including assessment, education, and triage.
- Function within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
- At least one year of nursing experience.
- At least six months of travel nursing experience.
- Ability to live at least 60 miles from the location applied for.
Nice-to-haves
