About the position
The Registered Nurse (RN) position at Sanford Medical Center Fargo involves providing individualized nursing care to patients through the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role requires collaboration with inter-professional colleagues to ensure comprehensive patient care across various phases of health maintenance and treatment. The RN will work within the scope of nursing practice as defined by state regulations and will be responsible for patient education, triage, and coordination of care.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to patients.
- Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan and evaluate care.
- Demonstrate competency in nursing expertise and knowledge.
- Care for patients in all phases of preventative care and health maintenance.
- Plan and coordinate patient care, including assessment and education.
- Perform triage and various nursing interventions as needed.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
- At least one year of nursing experience.
- At least six months of travel nursing experience.
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for.
Nice-to-haves
