About the position
The Registered Nurse (RN) position at Broadway Hospital involves providing individualized nursing care to patients through the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN will collaborate with inter-professional colleagues to ensure comprehensive care and will be responsible for patient education, triage, and various nursing interventions. This role requires adherence to nursing standards and practices as outlined by the Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to patients.
- Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan and evaluate care.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans based on individual needs.
- Provide patient education and support throughout the continuum of care.
- Perform triage and various nursing interventions as required.
- Maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
- At least one year of nursing experience.
- At least six months of travel experience.
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for.
