About the position

The Digital Care RN provides digital care to a diverse population of patients through technology across various environments. This role involves comprehensive symptom assessment, patient education, preventative care, acute psychosocial support, and individualized care tailored to the patient's age and development. The RN utilizes critical thinking and evidence-based practices to guide their care, promotes quality through collaboration with care team members, and acts as a patient advocate.

Responsibilities

• Provide digital care to patients using technology.
• Conduct comprehensive symptom assessments and provide patient education.
• Deliver preventative care and acute psychosocial support.
• Ensure individualized care is age and developmentally appropriate.
• Utilize critical thinking and evidence-based practices in patient care.
• Communicate ongoing with care team members, patients, and families.
• Promote quality of care through collaboration and advocacy.

Requirements

• Associates degree in nursing.
• 2 years of recent RN experience.
• RN License in the state of IL.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented.
• Ability to type 60 WPM.

Nice-to-haves

• BSN degree.
• 3 years of related acute or ambulatory clinical experience.

Benefits

• Pay range of $30.85 - $46.85/hour based on years of licensure.
• $3.25/hr weekend differential.
