About the position

The Virtual Nursing Operations position involves utilizing nursing processes and telemedicine technology to provide remote patient care. The role is focused on assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients while adhering to organizational policies and procedures. The nurse is responsible for maintaining high standards of practice and coordinating care activities among assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standards of practice in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Coordinate patient care activities among assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
• Demonstrate professional growth and accountability in nursing practice.

Requirements

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Two (2) years of direct patient care experience as a registered nurse in a hospital setting.
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS certification required.

Nice-to-haves

• Telemedicine and/or virtual care experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
