Your practice will be guided by the American Nurses Association (ANA) Standards for Professional Nursing and the Code of Ethics, ensuring that you provide the highest quality of care. You will be responsible for recording patients' medical histories and symptoms, performing diagnostic tests, analyzing results, operating medical equipment, administering treatments and medications, and assisting with patient follow-up and rehabilitation. As an RN, you will establish care plans or contribute to existing ones, which may include administering medications, starting and maintaining intravenous (IV) lines, observing patients, and consulting with physicians and other healthcare professionals. In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will be expected to enhance your knowledge in nursing management and patient care.
