About the position

Interim Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses RNs to join our team who are ready to start or expand their travel nursing experience. This position is for a local travel assignment in Susquehanna County, PA, with a 13-week duration and the possibility of extending. The role offers a competitive pay rate of up to $65 per hour and includes various specialties such as ER, OR, ICU, PCU, TELE, Med/Surg, and L&D. Shifts are available in both 12-hour and 8-hour formats, with a requirement to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provide all patient care in a manner that reflects respect for patient rights, dignity, values, culture preferences, and expressed needs
• Assess patient's physical, psychological, and social needs
• Administer medication and treatment to patients as ordered
• Assess pain and implement appropriate pain management techniques
• Develop, implement, and revise care plans that reflect patient's diagnosis
• Document patient history, symptoms, assessments, tests, and care according to guidelines
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and lab data, and report any abnormalities
• Educate patient and family on managing injuries and illnesses to ensure a safe discharge

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice
• Two (2) years of experience in an acute care setting preferred
• BLS CPR and ACLS required
• Must have general working knowledge of computers and department specific software
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen
