About The Position

The Road Laborer position at Spring Creek Association involves performing general maintenance and large-scale projects on roads within the Association. Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a related field.
• Valid Nevada Driver's license and clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in parks and recreation and/or maintenance certifications.
• Familiarity with basic OSHA standards and safety practices.
• Knowledge of safe operation practices and maintenance of various tools and motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of landscape and grounds in assigned parks, recreation centers, facilities, campground, and playgrounds.
• Monitor work sites to ensure safety rules and regulations are followed and that equipment is in safe operating condition.
• Assist with snow removal and other departmental projects during non-peak seasons as required by the supervisor.
• Communicate effectively with staff and volunteers to ensure clean, safe, and well-maintained facilities.
• Attend training sessions, staff meetings, and seminars as required by the supervisor.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Association.
