About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Roadside Assistance Technician to join our team at Titan Towing. This role involves providing emergency roadside assistance to customers facing vehicle issues, ensuring efficient operation of our services through maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various systems and machinery. The Technician will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality customer service while adhering to safety protocols and compliance with company policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment is essential.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance practices is a plus.
• A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a service vehicle to provide emergency roadside assistance to customers.
• Safely jump-start vehicles using appropriate equipment and procedures.
• Change flat tires or assist with tire inflation following correct procedures.
• Assist customers locked out of their vehicles using tools to safely unlock the car.
• Deliver small amounts of fuel to customers who have run out, ensuring safe handling.
• Diagnose and provide minor mechanical troubleshooting on-site for issues like lights or fuses.
• Complete service forms and report details of every call, including work completed and parts used.
• Communicate effectively with customers, offering clear instructions and maintaining professionalism.
• Follow all safety protocols while driving and working on vehicles.
• Ensure service vehicle and tools are maintained in good working order and report any needs promptly.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, responding to emergency calls outside of regular business hours.
